Fix-It Friday #4

Another fun chance to play with iHEARTfaces!

The picture was so incredible already, and I am such a clueless beginner at all this, I almost felt like I shouldn't do anything with it because I seemed unlikely to make any improvements upon the original. I ended up playing around with the photo in Picasa and Elements, and I think it turned out okay. This is such a great activity for learning and paying attention to detail.

This is my best friend's little boy on his daddy's birthday. He looks totally pooped from the party! :)

ADULT ENTRY

This is one of few pictures my mother has ever allowed or really encouraged me to take of her. It is a picture of her with her best friend of 40 years who moved out of state a couple of years ago.

Fix-It Friday 3

I used Picasa to add some fill light, add saturation, and "glow." I used Photoshop Elements to rotate, crop, airbrush, change the hue a little, and put a spotlight on her face. I love her expression; it truly fits the wonder theme.

Valentine's Day

Did you hear the cheering? That was us on Valentine' Day with this lobster. mmmmmmm... Our one night of lobster a year.

Friday Fix-It 2

Using Picasa and Photoshop Elements, I darkened the background, added fill light and glow, got rid of the light behind his neck, sharpened and highlighted his eyes. He is SUCH an adorable kid!

I used Photoshop Elements to boost the color, vignette, blur the edges, brush, and put some light on her face. It was so much fun!
